:Out of curiousity i am going to be starting on this new motor and came up with an interesting Question. I recall a while back Greg posted a few dyno sheets talking about info on turbos and piping. There was a dyno chart for a car that put out 668hp at about 6k RPM. Below was his Build : :A little info about turbos and pipes (DYNO CHARTS) :(The pink line added to the chart is a 700 turbo car with MS manifolds, 500 cams with larger ports and oversize valves, full 3 inch exhaust, Ash Massive Intercoolers and 2.5" intercooler pipes, Z1 Throttle bodies, JWT dual pop, 740cc injectors.) :Im Doing mine slightly different by adding in the V2 Intake with planer from Ash but my main Question was the Valve Size increase. Does anyone have any information on a build similar to above except without 1mm over valves? Would this be like shooting yourself in the foot if i decided against going with bigger valve and just sticking with a really good portjob, or are the gains really that much more? Any insight on this would help way my decisions. more air + more fuel= more power, just think of ways to increase both, I think there was a mod for a RB series MAF? it was larger than the Z32?? if I member correctly...
